Netscape Navigator

And the beast shall come forth surrounded by a roiling cloud of vengeance. The house of the unbelievers shall be razed and they shall be scorched to the earth. Their tags shall blink until the end of days.

from The Book of Mozilla, 12:10
As we have learned by now, programmers have a sense of humor. The folks at Netscape have a little surprise waiting for when you type about:mozilla (Navigator users can click on the link). The table to the left shows roughly what it will look like.

Have you been looking for a strange web cam? Netscape built in a key command to take you directly to one. Press Control, Alt (option on Macs), and F. This will take you to the Netscape FishCam.

How many times have you visited a page, only to forget the URL the next time you jump into Navigator? Type about:globalhistory in as your location and Navigator will show you all the URLs is has stored.

There's always hype, right? Type about:hype in as your location and Navigator plays a sound which says "what is global hypermedia?"
Nagivator also supports a <HYPE> tag which displays this icon for the sound.
(Warning: Either one cause a nasty crash on my system.)

On the Windows version, it just displays the word hype without any audio. The <HYPE> tag doesn't work either.
