How many times have you wondered where the Middle of Nowhere is located? Apple knows, and they included it in the Map control panel. Type in the three letters mid and hit search.

Having trouble seeing the locations on the map? Easy enough. There are some secrets to zoom in. All you need to do is hold down one of a few keys to zoom in:

If you hold down the option key and click on the find button, each time you click it will show you a new place. It starts with the As and works it's way through the Zs. Once you pass Zurich, the names appear in their natic languages.

Check down in Antarctica. You'll find the letters med (the programmer's initials).

Click on the version number (ie. 7.0 or 7.5). The text "v.7.0, by Mark Davis" with display in the search field.
